Amy's Easiest Fingerless Mitts
by Amy Kaspar
This pattern is
available for free.
These mitts are great because one can use almost any weight of yarn from their stash to make them.
The size of the mitt will depend on the hand that is used as a guide, but the length is left to the discretion of the knitter and the preference of the wearer. It only needs about 100 to 200 meters, depending on the yarn weight, so it’s a great stash buster going hand-in-hand with a good way to express your creativity.
These mitts can have a thumb gusset, like in the photo, or not.The link to this blog entry for the “body” of the mitts doesn’t explain how the gusset is made, but The afterthought thumb article on the blog, the explanations will pop up.
