This cardigan, with its aeroplane pockets, should make the heart of any youngster rejoice. The original is made of a mixed wool-fawn, white and blue, with 4 buttons and blue aeroplanes.
The button on the pocket serves two purposes. It keeps the nose of the aeroplane in correct position to the wing, and indicates the pilot in the cockpit!
Materials: Five skeins sports wool, heather mixture, small quantity 4-ply blue, 4 buttons for front, 2 smaller for pockets, 1 set of 4 No. 7 needles pointed at each end, 1 set of No. 9 needles pointed at each end, 2 needles No. 12 for border.
Length 16 in. Round lower edge, including border 30 in.; sleeve 13 in. To fit boy 5-6 years.
