An Attractive Jumper in Stocking Stitch with Scarf
THIS attractive little, jumper, in navy blue and white, is knitted in simple stocking stitch, with the loosely tied scarf knitted in the same pattern. The white spots are worked into the knitting, not embroidered on, and the scarf is made separately, so that a variety of scarves in different colours can be worked to accompany the one jumper. Nut brown, or kasha with brown, would be suitable colours for this garment also, and for spring wear a plain white jumper with several scarves either spotted or plain, in any colours preferred, would be smart with a lightweight woollen suit. For golf or sports wear quite vivid colours could be chosen if the skirt is plain and dark.
MATERIAL REQUIRED.—Six ounces of navy blue 2-ply wool, ½ oz. of white 2-ply wool, 1 pair No. 9 and 1 pair No. 12 needles (Old UK).
MEASUREMENTS.—To fit 32 in. bust.
No tension is given.
