This listing is for the PDF pattern of the pictured Doll “Ana”, her Panties, and Dress, a Laurel Lane design. This adorable, huggable Doll stands 13” and sits 8” . Using Bulky Yarn, makes the creation go really fast. There is no “attaching” the arms and legs and head, they are knitted onto the body. She was a lot of fun to create, the additional possibilities are endless.
This kind of hand made doll is called amigurumi. Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crochet or knit dolls. A combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.
