The length is about 4 inches above knee. If you want to make it longer, you will need more yarn. If you want to make it shorter, you will need less yarn.
The cardigan gets heavy with length and valance, so keep an eye on the weight of the yarn when considering which yarn to use for the cardigan.

6 buttons 15 mm Ø
I started with buttons and buttonholes to the waist as I wanted it to be open from the waist downwards. If you want to have buttons over the whole length you need more buttons. The spacing between 2 buttons are 6 cm – for the entire length you need another 6 to 7 buttons (depending if you want to start with the buttons in the valance or not).

Needles:
4 mm (US 6) circular needle min. 80 cm / 32’’ length, you need it for the valance
1 additional double point needle (help-needle) also size 4 mm (US 6)
1 crochet hook size 3.50 mm (E-4)

Gauges:
24 stitches, 34 rows to 10 cm / 4’’ knitted with 4 mm (US 6) needles - Stockinette stitch, blocked

Die Jacke endet ungefähr 10 cm oberhalb des Knies.
Wenn Du sie länger machen möchtest, brauchst Du mehr Garn. Wenn Du sie kürzer machen möchtest, braucht Du weniger Garn.
Die Jacke wird schwer durch die Länge und den Volant, also achte auf das Gewicht des Garns, wenn Du das Garn auswählst.

6 Knöpfe mit 15 mm Ø
Ich habe mit den Knöpfen und Knopflöchern in der Taille begonnen, weil ich wollte, dass die Jacke nach unten offen ist. Wenn Du über die ganze Länge Knöpfe haben möchtest, brauchst Du mehr Knöpfe. Der Abstand zwischen 2 Knöpfen beträgt 6 cm – für die gesamte Länge brauchst Du also noch zusätzlich 6 bis 7 Knöpfe, je nachdem, ob Du mit den Knöpfen im Volant anfangen möchtest oder nicht.

Nadeln: 1 Rundstricknadel Nr. 4 mm (US 6) mind. 80 cm / 32’’ lang – Du brauchst die Länge, um den Volant zu stricken.
1 Hilfsnadel oder Zopfnadel Nr. 4 mm (US 6)
1 Häkelnadel Nr. 3.50 mm (E-4)

Maschenprobe: 24 M, 30 R glatt rechts mit Nadeln Nr. 4 mm (US 6) = 10 x 10 cm
