Introducing ;) the Anahata Hat! This hat is available as a free crochet pattern on my blog.

The yarn I used for this project was given to me by LoveCrochet. This pattern is available as part of the 2018 Holiday Stashdown CAL taking place.

The Anahata hat is soft, cozy and lightweight. There are no large spaces between the stitches and the hat height is designed to reach the base of the earlobe.

The top of the hat has been fitted (decreased) to follow the curve of the head and then closed at the top. There is not a lot of extra fabric up top so it can be worn as a short slouch hat too. If you would like a longer slouch you can simply increase the number of repeat rounds until you reach a desired hat height.

Measurements for each size are provided in the pattern instructions and photos have been included for different techniques used to create the color changes.

You can change colors to alter the finished look of the hat - making this a great go-to pattern for multiple people - each can get a different looking hat just be changing where you make a color change!

This hat will make a great chemo cap too because it will cover to the base of the hairline. The yarn is soft and lightweight so it will be comfortable to wear.
