PATTERN INFORMATION
Wrap yourself in some delicate, soft and squishy lace and you will not want to take it off.
Anais is a semi-triangular shawl, worked diagonally from a tip to lower edge, with stitches gradually increased along the upper edge. The pattern contains both written and charted instructions.

Length: 170 cm/67 in
Depth at the widest point: 70 cm/27.5 in
Gauge
(measured after blocking)
1 pattern repeat of 11 sts and 36 rows in Japanese Feather pattern is 6 cm/2.5 in wide and 12 cm/4.75 in high
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.
Yarn
780 m/858 yds of smooth lace yarn with good stitch definition. Shown in Debbie Bliss Rialto Lace (100% extra-fine merino wool superwash, 390 m/ 429 yds per 50 g, col. 17 Sky).
Use yarn that blocks well, 100% wool will work best.
Needles
3.75 mm/US #5 circular needle, at least 80 cm/32 in long or size to obtain gauge
Skills needed
Long-tail cast-on, garter stitch, increases, decreases, working a lace pattern following either a chart or written instructions.
