Anaïs Beret
by Pearl Peris
“Beret” originally French, was first documented in 1835.
It originates from the Latin word “birretum,” and the term “bearnais berret” refers to a flat, woollen cap worn by local peasants.
Beret has been around for 1000’s of years.
This Anaïs Beret is worked top down in rounds and by finishing off with a beautiful Mosaic Band and an Optional Bow.
This is currently in Adult size and can we adjusted to your requirement.
I have used Ganga Soft & Strong Yarn (approx 167 metres)
I have made this Beret using 2 colours
