Feminine sweater featuring a distinct center cable and voluminous hem.

The Anais sweater has a boat neck, fitted silhouette, voluminous hem, and decorative central cable. The neckline is shaped by working short rows. Worked from the top down and seamlessly by using the contiguous method.

The model in the picture is 169 cm / 5 ́75” tall and wears a size 2.

5 (6, 6, 7, 8) (9, 10, 11) skeins of Eco Soft Fine by Isager (25 g = 150 m / 164 yds) (63% Alpaca, 26% Silk and 11% Yak).

3 (3, 4, 4, 5) (5, 6, 7) skeins of Alpaca 2 by Isager (50 g = 250 m / 273 yds) (50% Alpaca, 50% Wool). The sweater is worked by holding one strand of each yarn together.
For the sample, we used Eco Soft Fine in colourway ”E4S” and Alpaca 2 in colourway ”4S”.

NEEDLES

5 mm / US 8 circular needles, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” for the body and 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the yoke and sleeves.

4 mm / US 6 circular needles, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” and 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the hem ribbing.

3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles, cable length 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the neck.

3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles, cable length 80 or 100 cm / 32 or 40” and 40 or 60 cm / 16 or 24” for the body ribbing.

GAUGE

After blocking: 18 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm /4 x 4” on 5 mm / US 8 needles in stockinette stitch worked in the round.

This sweater is designed to have a regular fit and is intended to be worn with approximately 5–6 cm / 2–2.25” of positive ease at bust.
