I love hats! I always have. Unfortunately, I don’t look good in them. I do, however, admire anyone who does!

I’m an avid fan of “Murder She Wrote”, and, have always been fascinated by the hats Angela Lansbury wore. Actually, whatever production she was in – she could (and, still can) wear hats of any style with plenty of panache!

The one that fascinated me the most, though, was the hat she wore in Season 5, Episode 14 – From Russia With Blood. Note that I do not, never have, and never will condone the use of real fur, and I’m sure this one wasn’t. But, the way it moved – the way it framed her face – had me pulling yarns out of that huge stash of mine to work up something to resemble it at least a little bit.

An added bonus - this pattern also includes instructions for a headband and muff!
