Anatolian knitting, also known as Turkish knitting has been around for centuries! Most of its color-work knitting is featured in the famous Turkish socks. But since I am not a sock knitter, I decided that it would be great to incorporate an interpretation of one of these beautiful color-work patterns into a sweater.

The sweater is worked from the bottom up in seamless construction. The shoulders are connected with a three-needle bind-off and the set-in sleeves are knit from the top-down in seamless construction. Because the sweater is worked in the round, the stranded color pattern is easy to knit.

Join us for a KAL, starting August 15th.
