This eye is part of a series of life-sized anatomical organs. This eye is to-scale and the pattern includes 2 possibilities - one which opens up at the back so you can see inside and one which doesn’t. It includes details of how to make the scelera (white parts), iris, retina, and lens.
A 1mm crochet hook
A 0.8mm crochet hook
White #10 crochet cotton
Embroidery thread in dark pinky-red and a colour for the iris (I used green)
red sewing cotton
An embroidery needle
A glue gun and some glue
If you wish to make an eye that opens up you will also need red and dark blue embroidery thread
A pair of scissors
A clean metal spoon
