Easy: This pattern requires knowledge of simple crochet techniques (chaining, slip stitching, single crocheting, increasing, decreasing, and sewing parts together). The embroidery technique of stem stitching is also used.

THINGS YOU’LL NEED

  • Approximately 2 ounces of Caron Simply Soft yarn in light country peach (or an equivalent medium weight yarn)
  • Less than 1 oz of Caron Simply Soft grey heather
  • G US/4.25 mm hook
  • 8mm safety eyes (I use the Darice brand)
  • Scrap amounts of black embroidery thread
  • Polyester fiberfill
  • Darning needle for weaving in ends
  • Stitch markers (if desired)

MEASUREMENTS
When using the recommended materials above your finished item will be approximately 6 inches tall and 6 inches wide (for the complete set, not individual lungs).
