Anayah's Rainbow Shawl
Dedicated to my Grandaughter, Anayah-Israel.
$7.50 from each sale will be donated to raise money for her on-going treatment and her trip to to Denver, US, in June for Stem Cell Therapy.
See blog post here, and direct link to fundraiser here.
Anayah is a rainbow child, so not only did I want to specially dye rainbow yarn, but also be inspired by rainbows for the edging. The edging is worked straight, and then pinned out to peaks for the rainbows. I suggest you weigh your yarn before you start, to make sure you don’t use more than half before you start reducing.
A fake icord edge is applied and allows the natural curl of the stockinette frame the edge of the shawl. Designed to be made with colourway ‘Too Many Rainbows’ this design would work well with any semi-solid or speckled yarn colourways.
Design is suitable for beginners and up.
You will need to make Anayah’s Rainbow shawl:
100g/ 395m/ 431y of WildWestDye’s Naturally dyed soft singles fingering merino/ cashmere/ silk yarn or equivalent.

You will need to know how to:
Knit 2 together, Slip slip knit
