Anchor Point
by Leila Raven
A top-down, center-out triangular shawl with garter stitch and new shale lace, created for A Verb for Keeping Warm’s Pro-Verbial Yarn Club, January 2016.
July 18, 2016: The pattern is now available to purchase here on Ravelry!
Double increases and decreases serve as anchor points in the lines of shale lace, directing the rows of stitches this way and that. Combined with garter-ridge texture and a luxurious yarn in the loveliest grey, this shawl covers all of my most favorite things in knitting.
Extra special thanks to Ethan MacDonald, my photographer, my tech editor Dawn Catanzaro, Kristine and Sarah at AVFKW, and of course, the sheep and goats.
