This versatile, unisex pattern has been designed with an anchor motif on the sweater front and a wave pattern along the brim of the beanie.

Skill Level - intermediate

The pattern includes detailed instructions with pictures, a schematic for the sweater measurements, and charts for both the anchor and wave patterns. (2 PDF documents to be downloaded)

The anchor motif can either be knit using the stranding method or you could choose to add it after the sweater is knit but using duplicate stitching.

The sweater features a 4-button closure on the left shoulder which makes for easy on and off.

The beanie is knit in the round.

Yarn: Double Knit
Sweater - 2 (2, 3) 1 3/4 oz / 50 g skeins of main colour and 1 skien of contrasting colour for the anchor and waves.

Beanie - 1, 1 3/4 oz / 50 g skein of main colour. If you have knit the sweater will will have enough contrasting colour to knit the waves.

Needles
Sweater - 1 pair each size 3 and 5 (3.25 and 3.75 mm) straight needles.
Beanie - Set of 5, size 3 and 5 (3.25 and 3.75 mm) double pointed needles.
