A great gift that can still be made in time for the holidays!

Beads are added using a crochet hook.

Notes about the gauge for this pattern: Because the number of stitches in the shell pattern changes from one row to the next it is tricky to measure gauge over both stitch patterns used here. To swatch, cast on 34 sts and work the stitches in brackets in the Main Lace Pattern section, maintaining the first and last sts of each row as a k1 selvedge on every row. Work through 4 full vertical repeats of the 10 row pattern. One horizontal repeat of the Main Lace Pattern should measure 5” when measurement is taken across a row 1.

Errata - 2/10/2014 - 2 corrections for this pattern: Row 10 of the first section should end with a stitch count of 104 sts. (currently says 98) The set-up row for the main lace pattern should read “”K1, k1, p15, k1, k2tog, k2, p9, k2, ssk, repeat to last st, k1. (98 sts)“
