The piece is based on the Flame of Tar Valon and the Dragon’s Fang from the book series, The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan.

In our world, a similar symbol is used for Yin and Yang.

NOTES:

I included in the pattern a tip for what to do if the decreases on the inner curve don’t make it to the tip, but not what to do if the increases on the outer curve don’t reach the inner curve.
If you completed all increases on the outer curve of a round and it doesn’t quite reach the inner part, continue working the increase pattern until it does.
