I designed this shawl from a beautiful stone wall I saw in the arrière-pays. The garter stitch symbolize the stones of the wall, the eyelet are here for the holes that let the water go through the wall, and the slipped stitches are here for the marks the water print in the stone.

The pattern requires basic knitting skills (knit, purl, slipped stitches, yarn over, ssk, k2tog), but you’ll need to focus a little bit if you don’t want to make mistakes.
