This stocking is knit using knit and purl stitches in different patterns to create a unique design that is simple to knit but creates a beautiful finished stocking.

The finished stocking will be approximately 7-1/2 inches across and 21 inches long, when using chunky yarn.

This pattern would also work up nicely in a worsted weight yarn for a smaller version.

Gauge is not important for this pattern but will determine the size of your finished stocking and yardage required.

The sample stockings were knit using two skeins of Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn with very little remaining.

Stitches used: knit, purl, ssk, k2tog, p2tog and kitchener stitch.
