Andalusian Mosaic
A big soft shawl made in tunisian crochet.
It’s a design with squares, but made in one. No need for sewing them together later. The squares make it possible to use scrap yarn and play with other stitches, to completely personalise the shawl.
It’s also possible to vary the degree of difficulty, by the choice of stitches.
The pattern is written in steps, so beginners also can make it.
Do not be scared of the color descriptions and charts as the shawl grows.
It’s much more complicated to write the color changes in words, than when you sit with it in hand. Then it becomes logical.
I used 3 50g skeins of pink, 2 50g skeins of white and two grey.
For the white I used Drops Karisma but find it too thick. Any ‘wooly’ yarn for 3,5mm needles should be better.
It’s make a lovely soft and airy cloth
