Ande the Alpaca pillow is a 12”x 16” crochet pillow featuring the cute and cuddly face of a South American Alpaca. The pattern features written instructions as well as pictures to help you create your very own decorative pillow. Great for Llama lovers too!
Skill Level: Intermediate
Supplies:
• Hooks H8 5mm and G6 4.25mm
• I Love This Cotton Yarn in Main color (3 skeins), contrasting color (1 skein), and black for the eyes and mouth embroidery. Worsted weight yarn of preferred tassel colors.
• 12”x 16” pillow insert
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Stitch abbreviations:
st- stitch
ss- slip stitch
sc- single crochet
hdc-half double crochet
reverse sc or crab stitch- Instead of sc to the left, insert hook in st to your right, going backwards and complete a sc st.
hdc dec- half double crochet decrease- insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over and insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over and draw yarn through all loops on hook.
