Knitting Pattern for a Classic Oversized Garter Stitch Sweater with Wide Sleeves, a Round Neck and Colourful Bobbles all over Body and Sleeves in Sizes XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL).

Structure
The sweater is worked in garter stitch with 3 strands of yarn held together and with colourful bobbles in four different parts: front, back, right and left sleeve. Front and back part are worked with decreases to shape the shoulders. There are additional increases for the front part to shape the round neck. For the sleeves you will work increases after the cuffs to create a wide, balloon-like shape.
As soon as all parts are knitted, the shoulder seams are closed with the mattress stitch and a collar in 1x1 ribbed pattern is attached to the round neck. The sleeve seams as well as the side seams of the body are closed too and the sleeves are sewn to the armholes. The fit of the sweater is very comfortable due to the positive ease. The short length, the drop shoulders and the wide sleeves create a modern look of this basic sweater. The highlight of the design is the pattern of colourful bobbles worked over body and sleeves – which create a lovely, special texture in comparison to the classic garter stitch pattern.
