Anemone
Anemone is thought to come from Greek meaning daughter of the wind. However many people believe the meaning of the Anemone flower is forsaken or a dying hope.
This pattern is worked in the round and I use abbreviations according to US crochet language. I can provide the pattern in UK crochet language if preferred, please just contact me.
The finished anemone is approximately 3.25” (8.5cm) in diameter. This
flower would make a beautiful brooch or hair fascinator.
Tools Needed:
US size E (3.5mm) crochet hook
scissors
yarn needle
PVA glue
Yarn Needed:
DK acrylic yarn in plum, purple, mottled plum and lime green.
Other Materials Needed:
wooden skewer (approx. 3mm diameter and 25cm length)
If you need any help or advice please feel free to contact me.
