The cardigan is knitted in the beautiful Anemone stitch, which consists of a combination of slipped and dropped stitches and twists used so that little-flower-like structures are created. The colour is changed after each row of flowers, and the next row knitted with a shift of two stitches to the side.

Cuffs and bands are knitted in a single colour and ribs.

There is a tutorial in Knitting Magazine 143 that explains the Anemone stitch very clearly.
