I’ve used 4 x 50g balls of Drops Eskimo 100% wool from my stash to make this Infinity Cowl, which took me about 4 hours to make (at most).

Using 8mm needles, it grows really quickly.

Using 4 balls of 50m (200m in total) my cowl measured approximately 17.5cm wide and 162cm long before sewing the ends together.

You can adjust the width by use more, or less, stitches.

If you only have 2 balls of chunky yarn, you could make a short cowl.

Slipping the first stitch on each row helps to keep the edges really neat.

You can substitute any chunky yarn from your stash, or alternatively, you could used double knitting (8ply/light worsted) yarn held double, although this may produce a slightly firmer fabric.

It would make a great ‘thank you’ gift for both male and female; old or young.

I’d love to see your makes, so please feel free to add them to this project. If you share your makes on social medial then I’d love it if you tag me too - I’m:
