SHELF SITTERS #07 - ANGEL

Whether Christmas Angel or Guardian Angel… with this pattern you can make several Angels after your specific needs.

The pattern includes instructions for two variants of hair, wings, faces, and arm/hand placement.

The Angels are part of my Shelf Sitters Collection.

The Shelf Sitters never stay in one place for long here though. My kids are just too fascinated by them and love to play with them. :)

Easy and fast to crochet, and a real eye-catcher on every shelf. The perfect present during the Christmas holidays, or just for fun. :)

❤ Crochet skill level: easy.

❤ Size: 7cm
The size depends on the gauge and yarn you’re using.
I’m using Puppets Lyric yarn from Coats and a 3 mm hook.

The figure is mostly crocheted in continuous rounds/spirals;
rounds are not joined;
use a stitch-marker to mark the beginning of each round;

❤ you should be familiar with:

• crocheting a chain
• crocheting back and forth in rows
• crocheting in rounds/spirals
• magic ring (recommended)
• single crochet
• double crochet
• slip stitch
• changing yarn-color (instructions included)
• increase and (invisible) decrease
• surface crocheting (instructions included)
• you should also have some embroidery and sewing skills

❤ needed materials:

• crochet hook (size depends on your yarn)
• stuffing
• tapestry needle
• scissors
• stitch-marker (recommended; I use a paper clip)
• sewing-thread in red and black (for the mouth and closed eyes)
• yarn in several colors of your liking

If you are making the figure for a child, washable yarn and stuffing is recommended.
