This pattern is for an Angel Christmas tree topper – she has a tube section inside her skirt (rather than legs) so she can sit securely on top of your Christmas tree.

The pattern contains lots of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms. All of my patterns have been independently tested prior to publication.

You will need:
Yarn of your choice. I mainly used King Cole Cherished dk weight yarn & with small amounts of King Cole Glitz dk to add some sparkle on the wings, halo and star. Both yarns are dk weight which is equivalent to light worsted, weight 3 and I used a 4mm hook. My finished angel measures approximately 18cm tall.

You will need the following colours:

• Skin tone - I used King Cole Cherished shade ‘pearl’ (approx. 19.5m).
• Dress colour - I used King Cole Cherished shade ’white’ (approx. 75m).
• Hair colour - I used King Cole Cherished shade ’stone’ (approx. 21.5m).
• Halo, star & dress trim colour - I used King Cole Glitz ’antique gold’ (approx. 5.5m).
• Wings colour - I used King Cole Glitz ’diamond white’ (approx. 17.5m).

Please Note - The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide. The pattern refers to the colours that I used, however these can be substituted for colours of your choice.

You will also need:

• A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.
• Toy stuffing.
• Some finer dark grey thread for adding the facial details.
• Other tools you will need are a needle, some scissors, some pins and some stitch markers.
