This is a beautiful angel pattern for the perfect Christmas ornament or Christmas tree topper.

It is worked flat and involves simple lace sts (K2tog, SSK, K3tog, YO, Knit in Back). The skirt, bodice, and head are worked as one piece and the wings are separate then sewn together at the end.

The sample was knit with Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% Pure Shetland Wool) with the colour Eesit (white). However almost any type of yarn type and weight is suitable.

The arms of the angel are made by working a simple crochet chain which can be done by hand.
