Description

The Angel Sweater is knit seamlessly from top to bottom, starting with shaping the neck using short rows. Then, the saddle shoulder is worked using the contiguous method, which provides a particularly good and elegant fit. The body features a split hem, where the back part is knit a little longer. Stitches are picked up along the neckline, and a double hem is knit. Wide sleeves give the sweater a very comfortable fit. The edges are finished with the tubular bind-off method, which, combined with the yarn choice, adds a touch of elegance. The sweater is made from an especially soft and shiny yarn, the Angel series by Wool & Forest, a blend of baby alpaca, silk, and cashmere (color pink peony).

Beschreibung

Der Angel Sweater wird von oben nach unten nahtlos gestrickt, beginnend mit der Formung des Nackens durch Short Rows. Anschließend wird die Sattelschulter mit der Contiguous-Methode gearbeitet. Das sorgt für einen besonders guten und eleganten Sitz. Am Rumpf wird ein geteiltes Bündchen gearbeitet, bei dem der hintere Teil etwas länger gestrickt wird. Am Halsausschnitt werden nachträglich Maschen aufgenommen und ein doppeltes Bündchen gestrickt. Weite Ärmel geben dem Pullover ein sehr angenehmes Tragegefühl. Die Abschlüsse werden mithilfe der Tubular-Bind-Off-Methode gestrickt. Das führt in Kombination mit der Garnwahl zu einer besonderen Eleganz. Der Sweater wird nämlich aus einem besonders weichen und glänzenden Garn gestrickt. Die Angel-Reihe von Wool & Forest besteht aus einer Baby-Alpaka-, Seide-, Kaschmirmischung (Farbe Punk Peony).
