The Angel Top is worked from the bottom up. First, work the body in stockinette stitch with or without the lace edging. Next, work the back and front.
Graft the shoulder stitches with Kitchener stitch. Shape the neckline with a button or drawstring closure. Pick up the stitches along the armholes, work the ruffles or sleeves in the round and short rows.
