The finished angel , when worked in the suggested yarn, will measure approximately 3” high and 3” wing tip to tip. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. For a larger angel work in double knit, aran or chunky.

For the angel I used Scheepjes Catona in white and a 2.5mm hook. Each angel takes around 10g in total. You will need a small amount of flesh coloured yarn and a contrast colour for the wings.
Any 4ply or double knit will work well for this pattern. You can obviously use any colours or brand you fancy but the results will be different. Use an appropriately sized hook. Mercerised cotton yarn such as Scheepjes Catona is not fluffy so the pattern of the African Flower shape shows more clearly.
I used a 2.5mm crochet hook to keep it small. A darning needle, stitch markers, scissors, stuffing.

This pattern is relatively easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring. Everything is easily learnt from Youtube if you are not 100% sure. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms.

It is worked in African Flower shapes with instructions in written form with photographs and handy hints to follow for assembly.

This pattern is only written in English.
