Angel Wings Shawlette
Three expanding arcs worked using the wrap & turn method join seamlessly into an angelic shawl. Using garter stitch avoids the need to pick up wraps, while eyelets add detail and shaping.
Finished Size: 52” wide and 14” deep.
Yarn: Fingering weight (#1 Super Fine)
Shown here: String Theory Hand Dyed Yarn Caper Sock (80% merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 400 yd 366m/4 oz113g): Oban, 2 skeins.
Needles: Size US 6 (4mm): 32” (80 cm) and 60” (150 cm) circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: 2 markers (m); yarn needle.
Gauge: 15 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Garter st.
