Angel Wisp Shawl
As light as an angel’s wings, this is a soft lacy shawl that is perfect for summer evenings. It has a simple design which is very easy to memorise and very quick to make. It uses less than 50g of laceweight mohair yarn, which helps in ensuring it is light but also warm enough to keep the chill off.
The shawl is worked from the bottom point upwards.
The finished size is 160cm wide by 80cm deep.
Please note that I crochet quite loosely with mohair yarn, and many people have found that a 5mm hook equates to the 4mm that I use in the pattern.
The pattern is written in English and US terms.
For a top down version of this shawl see the Nutmeg Lace Shawl, which uses 4 ply yarn.
However, you could also do Angel Wisp in a 4ply, just use a larger hook 4.5mm and approx the same yardage.
IMPORTANT NOTE: New regulations in the EU (with effect from 13th June 2014) mean that patterns aren’t refundable after download. However, if you’re unhappy in any way with your pattern I can still offer a refund / replacement. To comply with the regulations there is full information on my terms and conditions here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hfs2o9h7qidk6qu/AGRARIAN%20ARTI...
