Angelic Christmas Tree Topper
I made a very detailed guide with explanations and pictures. It includes a detailed starching process that uses glue to give the angel a firmer form. I describe everything from stitch one to the completed object!
These angels are complex and delicate, so beginners might have some difficulty completing it. I will still help with any questions ❤️
This angelic tree topper is lacey, flowery, and detailed with a golden trim. There are three options in the pattern for the bottom trim of the dress, so it suits a wider range of preferences.
Color 1: Aunt Lydia’s #10 Crochet Thread - White (400 yards did about 2.5 angels)
Color 2: Aunt Lydia’s #10 Crochet Thread - Golden Yellow
Color 3: Artiste #10 Crochet Thread - #108 Rose Quartz (or any color for the flower)
Color 4: Artiste #10 Crochet Thread - #117 Grass (or any medium green)
Hook: 1.5mm
Recommended Materials for Starching:
A cone to form the angel dress (I used Playside Creations - Neon Cones)
White Elmers Glue (Glue-All) - 4 fl oz was plenty for 3 angels
Disposable cups (3-4)
Disposable spoon
Cling Wrap
Q-Tips
Napkins/Paper Towels
If you run into a problem, I am happy to help, even if I have to upload a video! I won’t leave you stranded! ❤️
