Angelica Pullover
The Angelica Pullover is an oversized cable knit sweater. The sweater is worked bottom-up. First the body, then the sleeves, after which the pieces are joined for the yoke. The neckline is shaped using short-rows and is finished with a folded neckband.
Difficulty:
★★★☆☆
Sizes:
XXS-XS (XS) S (S-M) • M (L) L-XL (XL) 2XL • (2XL-3XL) 3XL (4XL) 4XL-5XL
Please note that the unusual sizing means that the sizes correspond with the sizes in the sister pattern, the Angelica Sweater.
Width:
87 (96) 106 (116) • 125 (135) 144 (154) 164 • (173) 183 (193) 202 cm.
Length (excl. neckband):
55 (56) 56 (57) • 58 (59) 60 (61) 62 • (63) 64 (65) 66 cm.
Suggested Yarn:
350 (400) 400 (450) • 500 (550) 550 (600) 650 • (650) 700 (750) 750 g Finull by Rauma Garn (175m/50g).
The sweater is designed with an ease of 20 to 35%. This means that you should choose a size where the width is 20 to 35% larger than your widest upper body measurement.
Gauge:
27 sts x 32 rounds in cable knitting on 4 mm needles – or whichever needed to obtain gauge = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking.
26 sts x 32 rounds in 1x1 ribbing on 3 mm needles – or whichever needed to obtain gauge = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking.
Recommended Needles:
4 mm circular needles (40 and 80/100 cm), and 3 mm circular needles (40 and 80/100 cm).
Please note that sizes 2XL through 4XL-5XL have not been testkitted. They have been released with the pattern to remove the hurdle of having to ask or commit to a testknit.
However, if you are interested in testing one of the sizes, feel free to contact katrin@solvaraknitwear.com.
