Hi friends! I became super fond of making knitted skirts this season, and I am so excited to share with you all my ideas for new patterns as quick as possible. Before the end of this year, it is my goal to present to you a collection of skirt designs that differ in height and shape and can be made with a wide range of yarn. As for today, I bring this midi-length skirt with an A shape. It is easy to knit, and I tried my best to make it adjustable to suit a wide range of sizes. I’ve used a variegated yarn which I loved very much; the pictures don’t do it justice. If you wish to, you can make it with a mono-colored yarn that can bring out the details of the relief pattern and make it look even more beautiful. So, grab your yarn and start working on this lovely skirt. I am sure you will love wearing it during the holidays season.

Materials:

• Yarn: Himalaya, Mona, 15% wool, 85% acrylic, 3.53 oz (100 g), 284 yards (260 m), in the color 22111: 4 (4, 5, 5, 5, 6) skeins.
• Circular knitting needles, 24” (60 cm) and 23” (80 cm) long , sizes US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 7 (4.5 mm).
• Stitch holder.
• Elastic band, 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide.
• Tapestry needle.
• Ring stitch marker.

Sizes and measurements:

• XS: waist 26” (66 cm), hips 36” (90 cm), skirt length 27.5” (70 cm).
• S: waist 28” (72 cm), hips 38” (96 cm), skirt length 27.5” (70 cm).
• M: waist 30” (78 cm), hips 40” (102 cm), skirt length 28.75” (73 cm).
• L: waist 33” (84 cm), hips 43” (108 cm), skirt length 28.75” (73 cm).
• XL: waist 36” (90 cm), hips 45” (114 cm), skirt length 30” (76 cm).
• 2XL: waist 39” (100 cm), hips 48” (122 cm), skirt length 30” (76 cm).

• Size XS: 1030 - 1040 yards (940- 950 m), approx.
• Size S: 1115- 1125 yards (1020- 1030 m), approx.
• Size M: 1215- 1225 yards (1110- 1120 m), approx.
