Angels in Churches Shawl
This luxurious triangle shawl in three sizes (petite/medium/tall) is worked from neck to hem, beginning with everyone’s favorite—garter stitch!—and completed with an eye-popping hem in openwork and twisted stitches. Use a softly spun, sport-weight or heavy fingering yarn for a warm layering piece that spans the seasons.
The Angel in Churches pattern is part of the design collection for our 12th annual Red Scarf scholarship fundraiser! All proceeds from the sale of this pattern through December 31, 2022 are applied directly to our scholarship fund, administered by Foster Care to Success.
This Red Scarf scholarship pattern is knit in Bare Naked Wools Festivus 7.0 Sport (100% Organic Merino) in the limited-edition, custom colorway Hollyberry. A portion of Festivus yarn sales go directly to the scholarship fund.
Please note this pattern has both written and charted instructions. Any pattern support is supplied by the contributing designer. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, or yardage requirement.
