Angus Baby Cardigan
The Angus cardigan is a timeless, unisex, raglan cardigan, knitted from the top-down. The cardigan is knitted in one piece so no seaming is required.
I have also produced several video guides showing you the steps of several techniques used within the pattern
All sizes are knitted with 2 x 50g balls of Paintbox Baby DK (photographed in Champagne White) on a 4mm / US 6 and 3.75mm / US 5 needles. I have also knitted the pattern in Stylecraft Special DK (photographed in Gold - 1709).
This cardigan was designed to accompany my Angus baby blanket
Suggested needles: Circular needles: 4 mm (US6) 60cm, circular needles 3.75 mm (US5) 60cm for rib stitch
Double-pointed needles: 4 mm (US6) and 3.75 mm (US5) for rib stitch (if the Magic Loop technique is not used)
Materials: 174 (194 : 215 : 245 : 268)m / 190 (212 : 235 : 267 : 292) yards of DK yarn with gauge = 22 sts x 30 rows = 10cm / 4 inches in stockinette stitch on 4 mm (US6)
