Anime Girl ( アニメの女の子 in giapponese) is a gift to my oldest son who loves everything that’s anime, manga or giapponese related.
Abreviations -US terms
SC – Single crochet (single crochet worked in back loop only)
DC – Double crochet (double crochet worked in front loop only, 2 rows below)
FpDC: Front post double crochet worked around the corresponding DC below
CH – chain stitch SSt- slip stitch
Materials ( including the envelop border):
●Color A: light gray is the background color Schachenmayr Bravo Originals- 17 balls/ 2261m/ 850gr.
●Color B: black tweed is the pattern color Schachenmayr Bravo Originals- 14 balls/ 1862m/ 700gr
Size (including the envelop border):
Approximately: 175cm in height and 125cm width.
202 stitches in 287 rows
You will receive written instructions that include introduction to the overlay mosaic technique, as well as the chart marked with “X’s” and the legend for the chart.

Overlay Mosaic Crochet is worked on the right sides only.
When working on your project( blanket, pillow case cover) the right side will always be facing you.
You will cut the yarn at the end of each row and hide the ends into a double border ( if you are making a blanket) or you leave the yarn on the back of your project( no cutting) and pick it up on the other row( when making a pillow cover for example).
This pattern can be made in any yarn and hook you want, the size of the finished project will depend on your choices (thinner the yarn, smaller the blancket).
I want to thank my testers, that made a fantastic job with this pattern. Any existent mistake that you may find in the pattern is only my own fault.
