This pattern was created to help teach cable basics to my knitting students. It is also named for my daughter, Anita. It is fairly simple to knit as it has only 1 type of cable stitch. I used Hobby Lobby Yarn called Effortless Super Bulky in colors Biscotti and Neptune horizon, for my samples. This is an acrylic and alpaca blend yarn. I like how soft it is, but it does shed a lot. Any super bulky (#6) weight yarn will work for this pattern. I used purchased pom poms from Amazon…but you could make your own as well. I hope you enjoy this pattern. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at the email address listed in the pattern, or on my Little House Handmades, LLC facebook page.

NOTE UPDATE! I forgot to mention where to change to the larger needles in the pattern. Change to the larger size needle when finished with the ribbing. I will change this in the download too….but if you bought the pattern before, i wanted to mention it here.
