Top Anki is seamless and knitted from the top down in Pima cotton. First, the upper part of the back is knitted, starting with short rows to create a shoulder slope. After increasing for the armholes, stitches are picked up along the back cast-on edge to the shoulders. These are knitted separately, also starting with short rows for the shoulder slope. Increases are made along the neck edge, and the two shoulder parts are joined after new loop stitches have been cast on. After increases at the armhole, the front and back pieces are joined, and the body is knitted in the round, finished with ribbing plus a few rounds of stockinette where the last round is knitted in a different color while binding off. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves along the armholes with a shorter circular needle. Initially, short rows are knitted, then the sleeve is knitted in the round with the same finish as the body. Stitches are picked up along the neckline to knit in stockinette for the same rolled edge with a finish in a different color. Anki has a loose fit and should measure about 5-10 cm more than your bust measurement.
