Anna Vest
(Please note the errata only applies to the 2015 book version of this pattern. The individual download pattern does not contain the error.)
Inspired by a vintage men’s pattern from WWII, this waistcoat pairs classic style with modern shaping and a lighter look for a versatile layering piece. It is an excellent project for learning garment finishing techniques such as inset pockets and a polished, sewn-on, 1x1 button band (as seen on the grey sample), but for this new 2018 version it also now includes the options to omit the pocket(s) and/or work a simpler, quicker, picked-up garter-stitch band instead (as seen on the plum version). It’s lovely either way, and you’ll likely knit more than one!
There are also in-depth tutorials on Fringe Association for several of the steps and techniques: Scroll through the Anna Vest KAL posts for all kinds of additional info.
