Annabel Lee
“It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of Annabel Lee;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.”
- Edgar Allan Poe
Annabel Lee is an intricate crochet pattern featuring a captivating sea shell and four “wingèd seraphs of heaven” on each of its corners. The sea shell spirals out of the centre of the piece, spreading the echoes of a love lost.
The PDF Pattern includes a chart and written instructions.

The Victorian Lace Wedding Blanket
My childhood friend is getting married, and I am making her and her future husband a lacy bed cover. We grew up reading Tennyson and other Victorian poets together, and I am dedicating each square of the blanket to a different author or fictional character we loved.
The squares can be used to create tablecloths, curtains, or pieces of clothing – let your imagination run free! I would love to see what you create – please do share pictures of your finished project on Ravelry ♥
Feel free to use the hashtag #victorianlacewedding on your final square to show your achievement and inspire our community.
