* 5.0mm (U.S H/8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Aran/Worsted Yarn. I used Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran in the colour Soft Fudge (209).
See chart below for approximately how much yarn you will need.
5-8 buttons (2cm/0.75in)

Gauge:
14sts/11rows 10cmX10cm (4X4 inch) square in half double crochet

ch- chain stitch
sl st- slip stitch
sc- single crochet
hdc- half double crochet
hdc2tog- half double crochet two stitches together
puff- puff stitch, see explanation on page 4
IN- increase
RS- right side of the dress
WS- wrong side of the dress
BLO- back loop only
FLO- front loop only
PSM- place stitch marker
RSM- remove stitch marker
