Annagh Socks
♫ The Music ♫
The Crosses of Annagh is a traditional toe-tapping Irish reel – what better way to enjoy such a cheery tune than with a pair of multi-colored socks that pop just like the music.
Annagh are toe-up socks that begin with a double-bar toe and are perfect for multi-colored yarns. The instep and front leg are worked in a slip stitch pattern flanked by cables on either side; the back leg is worked only in the cable pattern to provide a nice stretchy fabric. The short-row heel-flap heel means no picking up stitches!
This pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
