The sizes provided in the pattern is for scarf or shawl. Also, it is provided in written or charted versions. There are also directions provided for you to add, or not add the sawtooth border. The repeats for the lace stitch is 10 sts and 34 rows, and the stitch pattern does lend itself to using markers, should you desire.

A note about the yarn…..it is 80% recycled linen and 20% linen. It is wonderful to work with. It is not scratchy or stiff like a basic linen and does not split like many cottons do. It is soft as you knit it, and even softer after block it. You could use another sport weight yarn, but I really recommend the Solo Lino.
