The crochet stitches include front loop, back loop, sc, hdc, dc, tr and sl st. The pattern includes description of abbreviations and complete instructions. This is a fun and fast project to make.

Materials: bedspread weight cotton thread (size 10)
15 yards light peach (or choice of skin color)
60 yards gray thread (or choice of pinafore)
20 yards Navy (or choice of dress, eye color and ties)
10 yards Golden yellow (or choice of straw-hat color)
10 yards burgundy (or choice of carpet bag and mouth color)
4 yards copper mist (or choice of carpet bag handle color)
4 yard black (or choice of shoes color)
2 skein red embroidery floss (or choice of hair color)
Small amount of polyester fiberfill.
Tapestry needle
Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25 mm) or Aluminum Hook size B (This is a larger hook than usual for thread crochet but provides the size needed for this pattern.)
Washable fabric glue.
