This pattern works by measurement (not by gauge); therefore the pattern is written in formula and does not have fixed number of stitches to enable you to customize your own size.
This cardigan works up quickly and is made in three panels (Front Left, Front Right and Back Panels);
It features crochet cables combined with openwork crochet, worked with post stitches and extended post stitches, double crochet and extended double crochet, single crochet and other basic stitches. This pattern uses US terms and includes full written instructions with many pictures and detailed diagrams in the Appendix section.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Requires experience working with post stitches and simple cables
Size: Customizable
Gauge: not specific, however it is important to maintain consistent tension throughout the project
Recommended materials:
Any weight yarn from Light Fingering to DK
Any size hook suitable for your choice of yarn
Scissors, tapestry needle to weave in ends, measuring tape (optional), stitch markers (optional)
Yarn consumption:
First sample made was size S/M with 3-ply (light fingering) angora yarn and 3.50mm hook, it used 1100m/200gr of yarn;
Second sample from testing was size M/L with 8-ply (DK) wool/acrylic yarn and 4.50mm hook, it used 930m/325gr of yarn
