Anne's Posy Shawl
This was originally released as a mystery KAL. The pattern is provided in both written and chart form.
This is a lace weight shawl which is a beautiful knit using large motifs that flow into each other. This is the second part of a paired pattern, the first part being an aran Cowl called (Anne’s Posy Cowl) which is a simplified version and make use of the main motif’s so is an idea ‘warm up’ for the shawl. If you buy this Shawl pattern and want to knit the cowl too, pm me and I will gift the other pattern to you. This shawl is the more ambitious pattern, so if you are new to any of the stitches you could try completing each section of the cowl before then getting your teeth into the shawl. While the weight is different it will give you a feel for the pattern.
The pattern develops into lace which has the option of a few nupps, beads or bobbles in the later stage. There are also instructions on altering the size of the shawl which is arch shaped and measures 66cm deep and 84cm wide at the neck edge opening to 138cm at the bottom edge
